She is best known for her role as Jane Kerkovich-Williams , the character of Jane in the ABC comedy series Happy Endings, Denise "Jo" Mahoney in the final two seasons of the medical comedy-drama Scrubs as well as her lead part as Tiger in the Hulu comedy series Future Man, and her recurring role as Hannah Wyland in Quantico. In 2022, she starred in Fox's comedy Pivoting. She was a supporting character in the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who killed Santa. Coupe studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings as well as ImprovOlympic. [6] In 2003 she performed in France playing a soldier in an all-female adaptation of King Lear. Her one-woman show, The Patriots, premiered in New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on November 5th, 2005. The show was awarded the Breakout Performer Award from HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, Aspen, Colorado. March 2006. From December 2007 until June 2013 Coupe was married to Randall Whittinghill, an actor instructor and puppeteer. She announced her engagement on Instagram on November 27, 2014. They were married on the 24th of December, 2014 while on vacation in New Zealand. In the year 2018, they divorced. Between April 2011 and May 2013 Coupe was a star on ABC's ensemble comedy series Happy Endings, along with Zachary Knighton (Adam Pally), Damon Wayans Jr., Casey Wilson, and Zachary Knighton. When the third season ended, ABC cancelled the show despite the critical acclaim. After the show's cancellation, she appeared in a role that was not her own in the final season of House of Lies and starred with Jay Harrington in the USA Network comedy series Benched, which premiered on October 28th in 2014. Later, she appeared in the ABC thriller Quantico in the role as FBI agent Hannah Wyland.
