
King Von was in fact Dayvon Daquan Bennett. King Von was born in Chicago on the 9th of August 1994, to Walter and Taesha. Through his mother, he had three siblings, while from his father , he was blessed with six half-siblings. Because his father spent so much time in jail, Bennett was mostly taken care of by his mom. He was killed by his father and taken to the hospital when Bennett was only 11. Bennett had to serve his 16th term in the prison. It was the start of a series of encounters with law enforcement. After the release of Bennett, he earned college credit from South Suburban College, South Holland, Illinois. To try to reform himself following further legal troubles, Bennett began pursuing his profession in the field of music. He collaborated regularly with his fellow rapper Lil Durk.Although "Welcome to O'Block" was the sole album that studio Von made during his life The posthumous album "What it means to be King" made its debut posthumously in March of 2022.
