Fawn Mckay
Fawn McKay was born 15 September 1915 in Ogden, Utah. Fawn MacKay, born into the Mormon Church's first family, used her astonishing literary skills and impressive research skills in order to produce the psycho-historical biographies of Joseph Smith. The book, No Man has a clue about My History was published in 1945. That title was taken from a funeral sermon delivered by the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844, when he shocked those he addressed with the words"You don't even know me." you never knew my heart. There is no one who has ever known about my past. The truth is I'm not even sure. Fawn aged 29 was a writer. Fawn is taking over the role of writer since that day. Many have abhorred him and others have glorified. A few have even made an assessment. It's not that documents aren't there, it's that they are so contradictory. The task of assembling these papers--of sorting first-hand information from third-party plagiarism and integrating Mormon and non-Mormon accounts to create a picture that is plausible historical claims. This is both exciting, and it's enlightening. Fawn brodie was professionally dedicated to the task.
